   Continuing       N       at      the     main intersection at the entrance to Abovian, an older asphalt road leads over foothills and wheat fields to Jraber (with forestry, pig farming), which main entrance is a right fork from the Sevan main  highway.  Some

   Then  (on  the  same  direction  N)  is Fantan, founded in 1829 on S slope of Gutanasar Mountain. Three of its villagers won Hero of Socialist Labor status for their high wheat yields.

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

1 km N, between the old and new highways, is an area used by Paleolithic man to chip obsidian tools in the Olduvian, Acheulian and Mousterian epochs of the Lower Paleolithic.
