beyond Chambarak turnoff is the small
village of Shorzha,
with a 17th c. chapel/cemetery on the S edge of town,
a ruined chapel on the hill above, and an Iron Age fort
somewhere in the vicinity.
S of the village, a paved road angles SW onto the
Artanish peninsula.
There is a substantial
vacation compound, |

main road S deteriorates after Artanish,
with ruins of cyclopean fortresses on hill just to W,
also 5 km SE, also 1 km N; church, cemeteries. |
