In 2003 the company has an intention to get involved in
fruit processing and to focus on fruit juice and puree
production.

In 2001, Karmir Lolik LLC has
already exported 25 tonnes of
tomato paste to Russia and 40 tonnes to Ukraine
through Dvin Concern. The products are demanded in Russia,
Belarus and the U.S. In 2002, 200 tonnes of tomato paste
has been exported to Italy. The US has requested 600 tonnes of
paste for 2003. Agreements for exporting 400 tonnes of paste
to Syria and 1. 200 tonnes to Russia in 2003 have been already
made.

Karmir Lolik LLC collaborates with USDA Marketing
Assistance Project and within the framework of MAP
projects the company received tomato seeds to distribute to
the farmers who will be able to supply higher quality tomato
for the next year paste production.

Due to USDA MAP technical assistance the cannery set an
independent food laboratory and furnished the old lab with
modern equipment. The company also organizes trainings
for young specialists.

Karmir Lolik LLC presented tomato paste in Food Exhibit in
Dubai, UAE in 2000 and in the Three Countries of South
Caucasus Exhibition in Tokyo, Japan. The company was awarded
with a First Place Diploma for the best product presented in
SME Conference & Exhibition organized by Academy of
Educational Development (AED). In 2002 the company’s
production has been presented at Sharzha 2002, Armenian
Products in UAE, Made in Armenia Expo 2002 in Glendale, CA and
various local exhibitions.
