VAN 777 has exported 15.000 bottles
of wine to
Russia through Russian Tavinko Company. A trail
shipment of dry and semi-dry Tushpa wine was organized to
Belarus in summer 2002 after the Tasting of Armenian products
within the framework of the Presidential Summit in Minsk,
Belarus on June 6, 2002.

The company
participated in Yerevan Fair
2000 of Wine, Vodka, Brandy,
and Beer and was awarded 1 gold and 2 silver medals for Tushpa
wine, participated in the First International Exhibition
ArmprodExpo 2001 and was awarded 4 gold medals for White Muscat
Wine, Red Muscat Wine and Tushpa Wines. Under the framework of
USDA MAP projects Mr. Manaseryan visited Wine and Wine Processing
Equipment Exhibition in Stuttgart, Frankfurt and
London. Tushpa wines were presented in Made in Armenia 2001
Exhibition in Glendale, CA. Russian consumer was provided an
opportunity to taste Tushpa wines during Wine Fair 2001,
International Exhibition “PIR”, Drinks Russia Exhibition and
in 10 Years of CIS International Exhibition in Moscow, Russia.

With the assistance of USDA MAP the
company has participated in various
international and local exhibitions in 2002, which have opened
up new opportunities for export. At the 9th
International Fair ProdExpo 2002 in Moscow Tushpa wine won a
bronze medal for its high quality and unique taste. The semi-dry
Tushpa was also awarded a silver medal at InterFood 2002 Expo in
St. Petersburg. At World Food Moscow 2002 the representatives of
USDA MAP helped the distributors of Armenian wines to present
Tushpa dessert wine. During the ArmprodExpo organized in
September 2002, Van 777 had active participation, and Tushpa
dessert and semi-dry wines received gold medals. At the end of
September 2002, the Americans and the Armenian minority in the
US had the chance to see and try the production of Van 777 at
Expo Made in Armenia in Glendale, CA.
